Etiquette Clothiers is seeking for a Assistant Sales Manager with entrepreneurial talent and global experience in the premium fashion accessory wholesale industry. This position is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Applicant must already be residing in The Netherlands.


Etiquette Clothiers is fashion accessory and apparel brand with a focus on premium basics including socks, underwear, tshirts, swimwear and loungewear – all made of the finest craftsmanship. Offices are located in Amsterdam, Netherlands and New York, USA. Aside from its own stores, shop in shops, online sales, Etiquette’s primary distribution is through wholesale to some of the world’s most prominent accounts including Barneys, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Selfridges, Liberty, Colette, Le Bon Marche, Lane Crawford, Isetan and United Arrows. We have a small entrepreneurial team environment, where creativity, innovative ideas, multi-tasking and initiative are rewarded.


- Join existing sales team
- Manage and service portfolio of current accounts
- Grow new independent account base in Europe and Asia
- Achieve ambitious sales goals and penetrate new markets
- Collect and analyze weekly and monthly retail selling and benchmark against yearly forecasts
- Develop and maintain business relationships with customers
- Knowledge of market and fashion trends, business environment and competitors in assigned territories Act as ambassador for -the brand on road travel and tradeshows
- Special projects as needed


- Three or more years of experience in fashion related wholesale
- Global experience is a must
- Interpersonal interactions such as negotiating, selling, making group presentations
- Comprehensive knowledge and proficiency with all aspects of wholesale and retail math (i.e. OTB, Gross Margin, markdown projections)
- Ability to perform complex verbal and written communication face-to-face and in group settings
- Job duties are somewhat varied, occasionally requiring conceptualizing, planning, and implementing
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Proficient computer skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, related field or equivalent experience
- Travel as required
