Stills Atelier Amsterdam is looking for a self-motivated social media intern to work on the day-to-day management of our social media channels.
You will support the in-house marketing department and freelance creative team by maintain the social media calendar and by governing the Stills Atelier social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
You will learn the ins and outs of our business and how social media is a productive part of our overall marketing efforts. Interns are expected to have experience with social media on (at least) a personal level (own blog, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.) and experience on a business level is preferred. Mentorship and guidance will be provided.
Based in Amsterdam and mindfully led by Korrie Vulkers and Martin
Tramper, Stills works closely with its long-lasting team of artisan pattern
makers, seamstresses and knitwear specialists to craft a creative vision
of presence. Stills explores the luxury of contrasts, layered structures, and the ensuing tensions between raw and refined, masculine and feminine. One detail at a time.
-Manage and oversee the content calendar creation and updates.
-File images and maintain version control
-Uploading images, videos, photo albums, etc.
-Research and finding digital tastemakers, influencers and users to follow/friend/like
-Posting and writing social media posts/tweets/updates, etc.
-Tracking the growth and the impact of social media on our business
-Provide feedback using Facebook Pages, Facebook Ads and Google analytics
-Grow and foster multiple online communities – searching relevant terms and topics, engage with followers, facilitate 2- way communication etc.
-Report findings to the team
-Website updates, Brand Portal updates and Newsletter building
-Consistently learn, grow and ask pertinent questions
-Excellent written and verbal communication (English)
-Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work
-An eye for detail
-Knowledge of graphic design software, working with a MAC, InDesign, Photoshop or other is a plus
-Knowledge of video editing software – iMovie, Final Cut, or Windows Live Movie Maker is a plus
-Self motivated with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
This internship is for a minimum of 3 months, preferably from 1st November 2014.
